City of Tucson Aquathlon Championship Information
The Championship Race will take place on Wednesday, August 2nd at
7:00pm
We will be there at 6pm distributing t-shirts. You must check in
no later than 6:45pm. Pre-race instructions will begin promptly at 6:45pm
The Championship race will not be the same
as last year (swim.run.swim.run) however, it will not be the standard
format used this summer. Participants will have the opportunity to earn
time bonuses therefore leveling the "playing field" among all
participants. An open mind and the willingness to have fun is required!

If you would like to participate on Wednesday, August 2nd, you
must respond to this email no later than 12:00pm, Wednesday August 2nd.
Please list your name and swim time. For those of you who have already
emailed me, no need to respond again! Cost will be $5.
If you are not racing but would like to volunteer, please let me
know!
Awards and t-shirts will be given out after the August 2nd race.
If you are unable to attend, a friend may pick up your shirt/award.
Awards/shirts WILL NOT be mailed, therefore you must call or email me to
arrange a location for pick-up after August 2 if you are unable to attend.
Only those listed on the Final Series Standings list are
eligible to participate. The Final Series Standings list will be posted
ASAP. This list will be posted at
www.swimandrun.com Go to the website to verify that you are eligible
to race. The following relays are eligible to race on August 2nd:

Nancy & Lauren
Cassie & Zach
Hallie Luedtke Relay
Holly Justice Relay
Weston & Shari
Liz Relay
Series standings may look a bit confusing due to the rainout on
Wednesday of week 8. In age groups affected by the rainout, standings
were determined by the four fastest times. If you have questions, feel
free to email me!
